Jenny Gumm, Ed.D., MBA

INTERIM CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

Dr. Gumm has served as Vir’s Interim Chief Human Resources Officer since July 2023. She joined Vir in 2020, responsible for overseeing Human Resource Operations, and Learning and Organizational Development.

Prior to Vir, Dr. Gumm spent more than 25 years holding executive positions and consulting, working across a range of functions—from finance and information technology to human resources. Much of her career has been spent leading large, complex projects that required partnership across multiple departments. This work has helped her evolve into an executive-level multi-faceted strategist able to develop high-impact business solutions that drive organizational results.

Dr. Gumm holds an Ed.D. from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She earned her B.S. in Finance and MBA from California State University in Long Beach, California.
