Brent Sabatini, CPA, MBA

Interim Principal Financial Officer

Brent Sabatini serves as Interim Principal Financial Officer at Vir Biotechnology, where he oversees the company's accounting and financial operations. With more than two decades of experience in finance and accounting leadership, he brings deep institutional knowledge and expertise in financial reporting, strategic planning, business operations and corporate finance. Since joining Vir Biotechnology in 2023, he has played an important role in strengthening the company's financial foundation and supporting key business initiatives. 

Prior to Vir Biotechnology, he served as Head of Finance at Capsida Biotherapeutics, Inc. Before that, he spent 17 years at Amgen Inc., where he held leadership roles across accounting, tax and financial planning and analysis. 

Mr. Sabatini is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in accountancy from California State University, Northridge, and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
